The Joe and Kathy Curatolo Foundation was created to aid people that need more "help" in their lives. Too many individuals and families require more assistance, more compassion, and seek more basic everyday needs to get through life. Our focus has always been to support local programs that promote well-being  

The Foundation is working on a 30-year plan to assist at least 25 charities per year while demonstrating the responsibility of giving to the next generation. Each board member is charged to identify and distribute funds to at least three charities each year.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Joe and Kathy Curatolo foundation is to enhance the quality of life for people in need. Our vision is to encourage charitable mindfulness and by fostering the next generation of philanthropy and volunteerism.

Recipients should preferably be a 501(c)3 charity.

Foundation distributions may be given on a restrictive or unrestricted basis. Restricted distributions go to charities with specific needs that have to be spent on an identified program.

Unrestricted distributions must have their program preselected and qualify the recipient meets a  low threshold of overhead expenses to be considered. Recipients cannot be discriminatory or political in nature,

The Joseph and Kathleen Foundation is separate from the Kathleen and Joseph Curatolo Quality of Life Endowment at Roswell Park.

The boards objective is to find charities/organizations that improve the quality of life on a local basis. A charity maybe regional or national, but the funds that we donate have to be spent on a local basis.
